Wrap Dresses for Every Occasion

Share

Wrap dresses are one of my favourite types of clothing. Wrap dresses are back on everyone’s radar this season (which is great! ), so I couldn’t resist adding this softly striped one with unsettles from Goddiva to my bucket. It’s the perfect Spring attire when paired with my unrivalled favourite boots – all I need now is some tan on my legs.

Aside from the lovely stripes and unsettles, the fold-over the waist included is my favourite feature of this garment. Like an exceptional Austrian Dirndl, the bow around your waistline ponders for your figure. The ruffles on the skirt add a personal touch, while the stripes add a modern edge. The iconic wrap dress has evolved through time into a symbol of womanliness, female strength, and, as a result, a closet staple. As a result, here are three compelling reasons to invest in a wrap dress this season:

It’s Suitable For All Body Types.

Wrap dresses, as I recently stated, are one of those items for which I welcome compliments from anyone. Wrap dresses come in a variety of lengths, fabrics, and styles, including midi, maxi, silk, shiny silk, long-sleeved, and strapless. Every woman can find a wrap dress she likes. When the dress accepts you in all of the fitting areas, you’ll know what style suits you best: In young ladies who seek a more ladylike body profile, it creates the illusion of a lower abdomen and advances bends. The proper wrap dress will shape to your figure and enhance it in the right places while hiding the areas you don’t like. You’ll understand what I’m talking about.

For Any Occasion, The Wrap Dress Has You Covered.

Wrap dresses are versatile enough to take you from day to night, from work to cocktails, and everything in between. For an early lunch with friends, dress it down with boots and a denim coat, or dress it up with shoes and a jacket for a night out. The length of the dress will determine whether it is more formal or more casual, depending on the material. I can’t wait to wear my Goddiva wrap dress with only a swimsuit underneath as a dip concealer around the water (ready and waiting, summer!). Wrap dresses are a versatile wardrobe staple that can be dressed up or down for any occasion.

It’ll Go On For What Seems Like An Eternity.

“If you want to feel like a woman, put on a dress,” Diane von Furstenberg stated as she showed off her first wrap dress. Her wrap dress was designed to give ladies the beautiful hourglass figure that we all desire, as well as confidence and strength. The hybrid style was inspired by ballet dancers’ warm-up gear (thus my fondness for it!) and has proven to be just what ladies require: the ability to go to work and feel confident while still looking ladylike. In today’s fast-paced world of design and fads, it’s rare for a style or piece to be fashionable for more than one season.

The wrap dress, on the other hand, is clearly more than a design as a piece of clothing with such a long history. An exceptional person will never go out of style. It’s a statement. Wrap dresses, like other closet staples (such the tiny dark dress, an amazing pair of jeans, the perfect white T-shirt, and an exceptional overcoat), have become timeless. Its style has evolved over time and has been tweaked to fit new situations, yet it has retained its distinguishing features: It’s easy to get in and out of, and there’s only one piece you need to wear. In other words, it’s a garment that combines style, functionality, and comfort – and who doesn’t respect that?
