Certificates Of Fitness To Travel Or Fit To Fly Travel Certificates

You may have noticed that many destinations now need a fit to fly certificate if you have booked a ticket or considering travelling in the last two months. We hope that this blog post has clarified this new requirement and shown you how to navigate all of the bureaucratic red tape to reach your target.

What Is A COVID Travel Certificate That Allows You To Fly?

A fit to fly certificate is a signed and stamped letter from a recognised clinic (with the Care Quality Commission) that verifies you are free of COVID-19 symptoms, have a negative PCR swab test, and are fit to fly.

Some destinations, such as Dubai and the Caribbean, do not require the fit to fly travel certificate; in these cases, the laboratory report is sufficient.

When Should I Get A COVID Test?

Known Before I Tried Fit to Fly

Check with your airline because some destinations require the sample to be taken 96 hours before to departure, others 72 hours prior to departure, and still others require the report to be submitted 48 hours prior to arrival. It’s easy to become confused, so double-check with your airline before scheduling your exam.

We have a next-day turnaround time, so we can assist you in any travel situation. If you’re unsure, such as if your flight lands on a weekend, just give us a call and our experts will assist you.

Is There A Fee For The Certificates?

No, our fee covers the entire cost of our regular service, which includes results by 8 p.m. the following day. You must test before 10 a.m. if you require same-day service with a result by 10 p.m.

There is no need to pay in advance, and there are no cancellation fees. We do ask, however, that you try to give us at least 24 hours’ notice.

Is The COVID-19 PCR Test Done In A Clinic Setting?

Yes, your test will be performed at the clinic to ensure a quick turnaround time and reliable results. When you take the swab yourself, the test’s accuracy suffers, and you may have inadequate sample for testing PCR Swab Test.

Why Am I Unable To Perform This Test On The NHS?

To begin, only utilise the NHS testing facility if you are experiencing symptoms. Destinations, on the other hand, require the actual laboratory results, which the NHS does not supply. Only a text or email confirmation of your result will be sent to you.

Do You Conduct Tests On Children?

Yes, we are able to assist children of all ages. If you need to make a reservation for a kid under the age of seven, please phone ahead.

Is The PCR Swab Test Uncomfortable?

The majority of patients say the swab is a little unpleasant, but they don’t say it hurts. The swab takes 10–15 seconds, and while it’s not something you’d do for fun, it’s not a bad experience!

What Destinations Require A PCR Swab That Is Negative?

The list of destinations changes on a daily basis, so check with your airline for the most up-to-date information. Cyprus, Hungary, Austria, Dubai, India, Ethiopia, Morocco, Bermuda, Barbados, St Lucia, and a variety of other places have been the most popular so far. Please keep in mind that you must conduct your own inspections before travelling, as the clinic cannot be held liable for any standards not met.
