Things to keep in mind:
- Floor Prep: before using this coating system it’s imopriotant that the floor is in good enough condition for the application to go on smoothly. If the floor is severely uneven, unsmooth, pitted, or has large crack, we recommend smoothing the floor our to achieve a proper finish.
- 8400 X Sealer: if your concrete floor is porous we would recommend applying two layers of the 8400X acrylic sealer on the floor in order to seal it properly before applying the BallistiX. You can test this out by applying the primer on the smaller area to see how the coverage is and look.
- NCO or Squire: the difference between NCO and Squire if the sheen of the floor. If you are looking for a more high gloss floor we would recommend the Squire version of BallistiX.
